Mission

The mission of the NPCBAERM is to make built environment of the country safe against earthquake risks.

Ultimate aim of the programme will be sustainable earthquake risk reduction in the country. The programme will be able to provide output in terms of capacity building of the State Resource Institutes (SRIs), which would result in training of PWD/Municipal Architects as well as Architects practicing in the private sector and also provide an opportunity to train students of regular Architecture courses conducted by these Institutes.
