Mission Karmayogi is a flagship initiative of the Government of India aimed at transforming the capacity-building framework of the civil services to meet the evolving needs and aspirations of citizens. The programme is designed to enhance the functional and behavioural competencies of civil servants and is steered by an apex body chaired by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India.
As part of this mission, the Integrated Government Online Training (iGOT) Karmayogi platform (https://portal.igotkarmayogi.gov.in) has been developed under the Digital India initiative to serve as a comprehensive digital learning ecosystem for government officials. It offers a wide array of structured learning content to facilitate continuous professional development, promote a role-based approach to governance, and improve institutional effectiveness.
The platform is built on the principles of accessibility and flexibility, providing "anytime, anywhere, any device" learning to ensure that training is available to personnel across geographies, including remote and underserved areas. By fostering skill enhancement and knowledge development, iGOT Karmayogi seeks to significantly improve the efficiency, accountability, and responsiveness of public service delivery.
The National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) has successfully contributed four training modules to the iGOT platform. In addition, several upcoming courses are scheduled for launch in seven Indian languages to further expand reach and inclusivity. These offerings have been well-received by users, achieving an average rating of 4.5, reflecting their relevance and instructional quality. These modules are also available in various vernacular languages such as Gujarati, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Bengali, and Malayalam.

To further strengthen its contributions to the iGOT platform, NIDM is currently developing additional courses, which are in the final stages of production and will be uploaded shortly. These courses align with the Mission Karmayogi vision of building a digitally empowered and future-ready civil service.
